SOS Pacific Poster

UK Quad poster for "SOS Pacific" (1959).

This is a dramatic piece of poster illustration - a real head turner. The film has a group of disparate travellers marooned on a deserted island after a plane crash. They come to realise the island is about to be subjected to a nuclear test (a very contemporary subject for the time, just a year or two before the Cuban missile crisis). The tension & drama is ably illustrated by the poster. As was often the case in the 40's & 50's, although the poster is bright & colourful the film was actually in b/w.

The poster remains in superb condition.
